providing a Photography Service, in Turkish Waters to the
Maritime Industry, since 1997

all aspects of Maritime Photograhy and untertake photo
assignments in all Turkish ports including the Bosphorus &
Dardenalles for clients from around the world. Our customers

strait and Istanbul area, and we offer a choice of Aeriel,

Crewmembers are
trying to take all vessels photos passing Bosphorus strait in day
time with a few various angles. Our ship archives has more than
20000 vessel and 60000 photos. We started to take digital photos
on feb 2004. Between 1997 to 2004, we used 35mm dias and negatives
for photographing ships. Between 2004 and 2006, we used high
resolution digital cameras (Sony Cybetshot F828 and 35 mm SLR
cameras (Nikon F601 anf F90x) Now, we are using Canon 400D and big
format cameras like RB67 and 6 x 18 cm pinhole. (12.07.2007)
We try to upload new photos to our ship gallery weekly.
In our
gallery pages, you can search ship photos by vessel name, type of
ship, Imo number or build date. We point out that some technical
informations of the ships that I do not guarantee the correctness
of them.
Foto-Io Istanbul founded in 1997 by Mehmet YAPICI. He has worked
for 10 years at some ship agents at Istanbul. We can easily watch
all vessel's movements on Bosphorus strait area.Presently, about
more than 11000 ship photos have been uploaded with ship
informations. Soon we will upload 7000 photos has been taken on
35mm dias.
